Dancer, teacher, choreographer and researcher. She has a degree in dance education with an orientation in Folkloric Dance from the ENDNYGC of the INBA (Instituto nacional de bellas artes – National institute of fine arts) and a degree in Communication Sciences from the UVM (Universidad del valle de Méico – University of the Valley of Mexico). She has a specialty in Policies and Cultural Management from the UAM (Universidad autónoma de México – Autonomous University of Mexico) and she is a graduate of the Master’s Degree in Dance Research of the CENIDI “Danza José Limón» (JOSÉ LIMÓN NATIONAL DANCE RESEARCH, DOCUMENTATION AND INFORMATION CENTER) of the INBA. Having the experience of folkloric dance presented in shows, as well as performed in a traditional way, she began the search for her own dance language, undertaking the Research and Choreographic Creation Project. She has been a scholarship holder of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) within the “jóvenes creadores” (Young Creators) program (2010 – 2011) and (2017 – 2018), as well as the “Programa de Fomento a Proyectos y Coinversiones Culturales” (Program for the Promotion of Cultural Projects and Co-investments) (2011 -2012). In 2019 she became a Member of the National System of Art Creators of FONCA.
